Globe Bearing Centre was established by Mr. Pradip Salampuria in November 1988, after gaining experience of more than 5 years in the Bearing Industry.Mumbai was the chosen destination as it was the undisputed Capital of the Indian  bearing trade and also for its proximity to the South of India, which is a major consumer.

Mr. Pradip Salampuria was joined by his younger brother Pravin in February 1989 to assist in the running of the business.
